Tanssikengät jalkaan ja Pannuhalliin! Polkaistaan marraskuu yhdessä käyntiin kun Tanssin talolla järjestetään jälleen suositut senioreiden lavatanssit, tällä kertaa Sateenkaarisukupolvien ohjelmalla!
Grab your dancing shoes and head to Pannu hall! Let’s kick off November together with a dance at Dance House Helsinki, where the super popular partner dancing event for seniors is organised once more, this time by Queer Generations!
Tapahtuma on suunnattu erityisesti sateenkaarisenioreille ja heidän ystävilleen. Kaikki, jotka nauttivat yhdessä tanssimisesta omalla tyylillä, ovat lämpimästi tervetulleita!
The event is especially for queer seniors and their friends. Everyone, who loves to dance in their own style in community, is warmly welcome!
Tanssimusiikista vastaa ensimmäisen tunnin ajan kabareekvartetti Café de Abejas. Tapahtuman toinen tunti lähtee käyntiin yllätysesityksellä, jonka jälkeen alkaa toivebiisidisko. Diskoa varten keräämme biisitoiveita tapahtumassa ja soitamme niin monta lempikappaletta kuin ehdimme. Diskossa on vain yksi sääntö: jos toivot sen, tanssit sen!
For the first hour of the event, the dance is accompanied by cabaret quartet Café de Abejas. The second hour of the event starts with a surprise performance and continues with a wishlist disco. At the disco, you can request your favourite song to be played and we will strive to play as many wished tracks as we can. The disco has only one rule: if you wish it, you dance it!
Mikäli tuntuu, että askel hakee paikkaansa, alussa on mahdollisuus osallistua lyhyeen lavatanssiopastukseen. Liity siis mukaan matalalla kynnyksellä! Tanssityyli on vapaa koko tapahtuman ajan.
At the beginning of the event, there is a possibility to participate in a short partner dance class. Don’t hesitate to participate with a low treshold! The dance style of the event is free, so feel free to move in your own way throughout the whole event.
Tapahtuma on maksuton ja esteetön. Tapahtuman järjestävät yhteistyössä Sateenkaarisukupolvet-hanke sekä Kaapelitehtaan Armas-festivaali.
The event is free of charge and accessible. The event is co-produced by Queer Generations and Armas festival at Cable Factory.
Tapahtumassa noudatetaan turvallisemman tilan periaatteita, jotta kaikki voivat osallistua rauhassa omana itsenään. Tilaa ja keskusteluja fasilitoivat Sateenkaarisukupolvet-hankkeen johtaja Eevi Tolvanen, tuottaja Riikka Lakea ja taiteilija Aleksi Kolmonen.
The event follows safer space guidelines to ensure that everyone can participate as themselves. The space is facilitated by project leader Eevi Tolvanen, producer Riikka Lakea and artist Aleksi Kolmonen from the Queer Generations project.

Lavatanssit ovat osa Sateenkaarisukupolvien Kohtaamispaikka-ohjelmistoa. Kohtaamispaikka on sukupolvien välinen tila, jossa kaikenikäiset queer- ja transihmiset voivat kohdata ja tutustua toisiinsa. Tapahtumat ovat maksuttomia.
The Pannu Hall Dance Party is part of the Queer Generations Meeting Place program. Meeting Place is an intergenerational space for queer and trans people of all ages to meet and get to know each other. The events are free of charge.

The Dance House Helsinki entrance is located in the covered Glass Courtyard of Cable Factory, which is also accessible from the other end of the building at Tallberginkatu 1.

The nearest taxi stand is at Ruoholahti metro station. When leaving the Cable Factory, it is best to order a taxi to Cable Square or Tallberginkatu.
The space can accommodate 200 people.
