Kohtaamispaikka
Kohtaamispaikka eri-ikäisille queer- ja transihmisille. Tapahtumien tarkoitus on luoda paikka kohtaamisille ja keskustelulle.

Kevätkauden ensimmäinen kohtaamispaikka tapahtuu Ystävänpäivädiscon yhteydessä. Tervetuloa tanssimaan ja kohtaamaan ihmisiä 14.2. Helsingin kaupunginmuseolle!
The Meeting Place:
A Meeting Place for queer and trans people of all ages. The aim of the events is to create a place for meetings and discussion.
The first meeting place of the spring season will take place during the Valentine’s Day Disco. Welcome to dance and meet people on 14 February at Helsinki City Museum!
Kotikäynnit
Keskustellaan elämäntarinoista, ihastumisesta! Tarkastellaan erilaisia ihmissuhteita ja eri sukupolvien suhdetta niihin: valittuja perhesuhteita, ystävyyksiä, romantiikkaa, platonisia rakkaussuhteita sekä sitä, mitä on olla läsnä toiselle ja antaa tai ottaa vastaan huolenpitoa. Entä mitä tapahtuu silloin, kun jokin murskaantuu, hajoaa tai tuhoutuu?
Kotikäynneillä tutustutaan elämänkokemusten, keskustelun, tanssin, huolenpidon ja musiikin keinoin.
Osana kotikäyntejä voit myös osallistua sateenkaarihistorian kokoamiseen. Taiteilija käy ensin kanssasi keskusteluja elämästäsi, muodostatte yhdessä haastattelukysymyksiä ja lopulta pidetään noin 2 tuntia kestävä haastattelu, joka luovutetaan suostumuksella Työväen Arkistolle tai Työväenmuseo Werstaalle.

Home Visits:
Let’s talk about life stories, crushing! Let’s discuss different types of relationships and different generations thought on them: chosen family relationships, friendships, romance, platonic love relationships, and what it means to be present for another and to give or receive care. And what happens when something breaks down, falls apart or is destroyed?
At Home visits we get to know each other through life experiences, discussion, dance, caring and music.
As part of the home visits, you can also take part in compiling a rainbow history. The artist will first have a discussion with you about your life, you will formulate interview questions together and finally an interview will take place, lasting about 2 hours, which will be handed over to the Labour Archives or the Labour Museum Werstas with your consent.

Todellisuuden tutkimuskeskus tuottaa Sateenkaarisukupolvet-hanketta vuonna 2023-2026. Hanke tehdään tiiviissä yhteistyössä Sateenkaariseniorit ry:n kanssa. Hanketta rahoittaa Helsingin kaupunki.
About the Project
The Reality Research Centre produces the Queer Generations-project in 2023-2026. The project will be carried out in close collaboration with the Sateenkaariseniorit ry-association. The project is funded by the City of Helsinki.
Sateenkaarisukupolvet-hanke luo yhteisöä ja yhteenkuuluvuuden tunnetta queer- ja trans-senioreille taidetyöpajojen sekä taidelähtöisten kotikäyntien muodossa. Lisäksi järjestämme tapahtumia sukupolvien välisille kohtaamisille.
The Queer Generations project creates a sense of community and belonging for queer and trans senioreille through art workshops and art-based home visits. In addition, we organize events for intergenerational meet-ups.

Sateenkaarisukupolvet-hanke tarjoaa tanssi-, musiikki ja valokuvatyöpajoja sekä taidelähtöisiä kotikäyntejä. Ja tuottaa esityksiä, jotka yhdistävät Queer Dance Group-tanssiyhteisön eri-ikäisiä tanssijoita sekä senioriryhmiä.
Ensimmäinen PROM Crush[ing] – tapahtuma ja esitys tapahtui huhtikuussa 2024. Seuraava esitys nähdään 2026.
The Queer Generations project offers dance, music and photography workshops and artistic home visits. Also the project produces performances, that bring together dancers of different ages from the Queer Dance Group dance community and senior groups.
The first outcome, PROM Crush[ing] happened in April 2024. Next performance will premier in 2026.
