Manual of Everlasting Life offers twelve ways to practice immortality. The purpose of these practices is to bring eternity to the everyday. They present simple ways with which to reach beyond the graspable and to be with the infinite. The practices were developed in a ritualistic manner during one year. Every month two artists retreated for a period of three days and nights to prepare a practice. The practices were performed during 2010 as 12 Etudes on Everlasting Life, a series of performative art pieces, as a part of Reality Research Center’s year of research on the question Can the Sacred Be Performed?
